Once the bunk beds were together, it was nice and very sturdy. But the explicit description said it came with all necessary tools. I had to get out the screwdriver and make a total of 18 holes that were not previously performed. These were the six posts up and down and little support on both sides of the upper bunk. It took three of us five hours together in bed. This was because the holes that were drilled were narrow, and so we had to return some of the others made misalign. However, the reason why the bed so robust, so it is worth the difficulty is, it was common for the final result. The bunk bed was not properly packaged to protect the wood and we came up with about five major scratches. They were quite obviously because of the dark stain on light wood origionally. Fortunately, the larger on the side of the bed against the wall, we and the rest we touched with spots.

I was hoping there will be dark, it’s more of a cherry tree is.
Allen, that was not cut with it and sure enough, a beveled end. It would not fit into the screw. Fortunately, we have bits and used our own.
It is beautiful, even if it is not the color I was looking for. It is high enough above the ground to store things under. The slats makes all the screws in the frame it extra safe. I look forward to the bed for years
