I was hoping there will be dark, it’s more of a cherry tree is.

Allen, that was not cut with it and sure enough, a beveled end. It would not fit into the screw. Fortunately, we have bits and used our own.

It is beautiful, even if it is not the color I was looking for. It is high enough above the ground to store things under. The slats makes all the screws in the frame it extra safe. I look forward to the bed for years

Once the bunk beds were together, it was nice and very sturdy. But the explicit description said it came with all necessary tools. I had to get out the screwdriver and make a total of 18 holes that were not previously performed. These were the six posts up and down and little support on both sides of the upper bunk. It took three of us five hours together in bed. This was because the holes that were drilled were narrow, and so we had to return some of the others made misalign.
